Cioppino's - Sample Menu Items

Appetizers

Sourdough Garlic Bread - Also one of our favorite side dishes, it's a great companion to all our pasta dishes. Grilled sourdough bread brushed with our homemade butter, garlic, and parsley spread.

Fried Calamari - Fresh squid lightly battered and fried, served with cocktail sauce and fresh lemon wedges. You haven't had the best until you've had ours.

Popcorn Shrimp - Small tender bay shrimp, breaded and deep fried. Served with cocktail sauce.

Steamed Clams - Fresh clams steamed in fennel broth, tomato, garlic and a touch of sambuca liqueur. Served with grilled sourdough toast.

Clam Strips - Chopped clams breaded and fried, served with cocktail sauce.

Fried Seafood Platter - A combination of fried popcorn shrimp, clam strips and calamari, served with cocktail and tartar sauces.

Dungeness Crab Cakes - Fresh crab cakes topped with pesto aioli sauce and roasted peppers.

Insalata Caprese- Fresh mozzarella over a bed of vine-ripened tomato slices and fresh basil leaves, drizzled with our own balsamic vinaigrette and topped with fresh ground pepper.

Sweet Potato Fries - Deep fried and served with a side of chipotle ranch dipping sauce.


FRESH SEAFOOD COCKTAILS

Bay Shrimp Cocktail - Tender bay shrimp on a bed of seasonal greens and ice, served with cocktail sauce and fresh lemon wedges.

Prawn Cocktail - Jumbo shrimp served chilled on a bed of seasonal greens and ice with cocktail sauce and fresh lemon wedges.

Dungeness Crab Cocktail - Fresh local Dungeness crabmeat served chilled on a bed of seasonal greens and ice with cocktail sauce and fresh lemon wedges.

Combo Cocktail - A combination of fresh Dungeness crabmeat and bay shrimp served chilled on a bed of fresh seasonal greens and ice with cocktail sauce and fresh lemon wedges.

Chilled Seafood Platter - This is what eating seafood is all about! A selection of prawns, bay shrimp, clams, mussels, calamari and Dungeness crab legs served chilled with fresh lemon wedges, cocktail sauce and pesto aioli sauce. Serves 2-3 persons.

Fettuccine Alfredo - The classic cream sauce of garlic, Parmesan cheese, butter, cream and a touch of nutmeg

Linguini Aurora – Tender shrimp sautéed with garlic, fresh tomatoes, zucchini and basil in a light creamy pomodoro white wine sauce, tossed with linguini pasta

Spaghetti Bolognese - Hearty meat sauce with fresh mushrooms, onions and tomatoes

Cioppino - A seafood extravaganza of Dungeness crab, clams, mussels, snapper calamari, shrimp and tomatoes braised in a fennel scented stew. Served original style with whole crab legs you crack yourself, or for your convenience, with the crab-meat out of the shell. Please specify when ordering. Served with grilled sourdough toast

Fisherman’s Platter - A seafood feast of fried large shrimp, calamari and snapper fillets, served with french fries, coleslaw, lemon wedges, cocktail and tartar sauces

Dungeness Crab Cakes - Four patties of fresh crab cakes topped with our special aioli pesto sauce and roasted peppers, served with rice pilaf and fresh seasonal vegetables

Seafood Risotto -Fresh scallops, jumbo prawns and mussels, steamed in a reduced shellfish stock, then tossed with risotto (Italian rice) milanese. Garnished with fresh chopped roma tomatoes and scallions

Blackened Pacific Snapper - Topped with sun-dried tomato and basil butter. Served with rice pilaf and seasonal vegetables. (slightly spicy) -
