M&M's Fish & Chicken Shack, Sparks NV

Our family-owned restaurant began on Mill Street in Reno, as M&M’s Fish & Chicken Shack. The owner, Mitch Moore and his wife, Geishula Moore, then moved to a tiny shack on Prater Street in Sparks. Today, the one n’ only M&M’s Southern Cafe can be found—not only at local events such as the Nugget Rib Cook-Off and Food Truck Friday during the summer— but also in a cozy sit-down restaurant, with an artful interior designed and built by the owners.

Around the corner from the restaurant, Mitch and his wife continue to feed people, but not with natural food. He is the Pastor of Perfect Peace Community Church, where he feeds spiritual meat to hungry souls. Pastor Moore says, “I feed the natural man first, because a hungry person is in no condition to eat the spiritual meat.” So, after you get your belly full and your soul satisfied, you are welcome to join us next door to taste the Word of God and eat the Living Bread!
