House Kitchen & Bar was created by chef/owner Chris Nestor, after having a vision and seeing it come to fruition with his other Sacramento restaurant, Ink Eats & Drinks. This time around, he was driven to create an [+]entirely different atmosphere and concept: classic comfort food in an upscale, yet casual, environment.
His passion for great food and impeccable service is evident. The staff at House Kitchen & Bar have been working diligently since January 2010 to please all of their guests, and to ensure that every taste bud and expectation is satiated and exceeded.

Our goal is to create classic comfort food with a contemporary twist, while exceeding the service expectations of all of our guests. We truly want everyone to feel as if they are a guest in our "house". If crunchy double-dipped fried chicken or creamy 5 cheese mac n' cheese doesn't appeal to you, our chefs are more than happy to create something special just for you!

If you want to, you can perch your party on our mezzanine (holds up to 25 people) for a view of the whole restaurant. Located in the heart of Downtown and inside the K Street Mall, River City Brewing Company is a great starting point for your day or evening activities. RCBC's ambiance is warm, fun, (sometimes loud) yet always comfortable for a intimate dinner or a group lunch. During the warm months of summer sit on the patio at the entrance of RCBC.
