History

Kasbah has been an important source of late night entertainment since 2004. When Debbie Chang and Tanya Azar purchased the restaurant in 2016 (as employees of 14 and 13 years respectively), they made a concerted effort to turn this once a lounge into a full-scale restaurant with an exceptional food and drink menu.

Kasbah is incredibly culturally diverse. On any given night, one can walk through the restaurant, and hear five or six different languages being spoken. Kasbah values its unique mix of old world and new world, hosting a meeting of cultures.

Spending ample time working at the restaurant over the years, Debbie and Tanya have grown up at Kasbah, forming memories and relationships, with not only coworkers, but guests who have become like family.
